Round 7 saw 219lb 8ozs of fish at Bracklesham and a second match victory of the season for SPL sponsor PAUL STEVENS of ULTRAMARINE UK with a total weight of 19lb 13oz 8ozs. There was a change at the top of the Individual Championship table with DARREN BOND from Lancing leading on 29 points ahead of ALAN GILBERT and ALLY HARVEY both from Worthing on 45 points. A revised more accurate Smoothhound length to weight chart updated since the last match was used in R7. I will publish a copy of it in the next journal.

I have had to change a couple of SPL matches in 2009 in order to get 3/4 NFSA Wessex Division competitions added to the areas match programme. Our events are noted on the Next Match Details link above. (My apologies if you've already booked your holidays).

A mid-season break will see the next match fished at Shoreham overnight of Saturday 13th September 2008 from 8pm until 1am with pre-book-in taking place two hours before the start. Have a great holiday break gentlemen and very many thanks for your support so far this year.
